ACTIVITIES

Our activities include organization of conferences, scientific sessions, exhibitions, workshops and webinars, with particular attention to the research carried out by young scholars.
We provide sponsorship to symposia organized by affiliated bodies and to geo-historical sessions within major scientific meetings of other unions, commissions and associations. This kind of cross-disciplinary symposium forms an important part of our outreach activities, where we interact with scientific congresses in order to raise awareness of the history of the Earth sciences.
Among our activities we interact in events and collaborate on projects with other IUGS and DHST scientific commissions and groups, in order to provide expertise in the history of geological sciences.
